SYMBION, INC. ANNOUNCES FOURTH QUARTER AND YEAR-END 2008 CONFERENCE CALL

Nashville, Tennessee (March 26, 2009) — Symbion, Inc., an owner and operator of short stay surgical facilities, announced today that it will provide an online Web simulcast of its fourth quarter and year-end 2008 earnings conference call on Wednesday, April 1, 2009.  The Company will file an Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2008, prior to the call, a copy of which will be available through the Investor tab of the Company’s website at www.symbion.com.

The live broadcast of Symbion’s conference call is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, April 1, 2009.  An online replay will be available for 30 days beginning approximately an hour following the conclusion of the live broadcast.  A link to these events can be found on the Company’s website at www.symbion.com or at www.earnings.com.
