SYMBION, INC. ANNOUNCES SECOND QUARTER 2010 CONFERENCE CALL

Nashville, Tennessee (August 12, 2010) – Symbion, Inc., an owner and operator of short stay surgical facilities, announced today that it will provide an online Web simulcast of its second quarter 2010 earnings conference call on Wednesday, August 18, 2010. The Company will file a Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2010, prior to the call, a copy of which will be available through the Investor tab of the Company's website at www.symbion.com.

The live broadcast of Symbion's conference call is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, August 18, 2010. An online replay will be available for 30 days beginning approximately an hour following the conclusion of the live broadcast.
