Mr. Weaver has worked with Symbion for more than a decade, developing long-term partnerships and joint venture opportunities with physicians. Prior to his appointment as Vice President of Acquisitions and Development in 2002, Mr. Weaver served as Vice President of Business Development for Symbion, where he was responsible for the operational growth of the multi-specialty surgery center division. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Weaver was Director of Corporate Development for publicly-traded Sheridan Healthcare with responsibility for both internal growth and growth through acquisitions and development. Mr. Weaver is a nationally recognized speaker in surgery center and physician-owned hospital acquisitions and development and a contributor to several national trade publications.
